Mike Power is the Headteacher of St Helens Alternative Provision Service, where he is dedicated to creating inclusive educational opportunities. Alongside his leadership role, he is pursuing a doctorate at the University of Chester, focusing on how government policies impact disadvantaged students. An advocate for integrating youth work into formal education, Mike has contributed to national discussions on the topic and authored The Head of Year’s Handbook. His work demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting marginalised students and promoting inclusion.
