About me
Hannah is an Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion and Designated Safeguarding Lead at Leverhulme Primary School in Bolton, a large, diverse, two-form entry school with 420 pupils, 60% of whom are eligible for free school meals, and over half live in areas among the 10% most deprived nationally. The school supports a high percentage of children with SEND, including complex needs. Hannah leads on behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding, bringing over a decade of teaching and leadership experience in mainstream primary schools, as well as being an alumni Difference Leader in AP. She specialises in building inclusive systems, capturing pupil voice, and equipping staff with relational approaches to improve outcomes. Implementing strategies to improve attendance is one of her key priorities, with early signs of a positive shift in overall attendance and a 10% drop being seen in persistent absence rates this academic year so far.
